Home Yoga
Yoga at home, in the space and time you actually have
A lot of people start yoga at home because a studio feels like too much: too expensive, too far, too full of people who already know what they're doing. That's a perfectly good reason, and home practice has real advantages. Nobody is watching, you can stop whenever you like, and you can practise in pyjamas.
This section is about making it work in a real home. That means routines that fit between a bed and a wardrobe, props you already own (a firm cushion, a belt, a wall), and honest advice on picking a time of day you'll actually keep. Ten minutes before breakfast counts. So does a stretch on the living-room rug while the kettle boils.
We'll also cover the practical bits beginners ask about: whether you need a mat on carpet, how to follow a video without craning your neck at a screen, and what to do when a pet or a child joins in halfway through.
Our home yoga guides
We haven't published a home yoga guide yet. In the meantime, the Daily Cup of Yoga headlines below are a good read on building a habit that sticks.
